Restoring a Cemetery Cathedral

Barnard Family Stone

At Millennial Stone Cleaner, we had the privilege of conserving the Barnard family stone, a stunning granite monument located in the historic Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York. Unfortunately, the stone suffered damage when a tree fell on it, causing the large cross to become embedded in the ground.

Our skilled team of conservators utilized modern techniques to restore the monument to its former glory. We carefully lifted the cross back into its original position above the crossing and thoroughly cleaned the entire stone, revealing its beautiful craftsmanship.

The Barnard family stone is a remarkable work of art, intricately designed in the shape of a cathedral with meticulous attention to detail. It is a testament to the skill and creativity of the past, and we are honored to have contributed to its preservation for future generations.

If you have a gravestone or monument in need of conservation services, we invite you to reach out to us. Our team is committed to preserving the legacies of those who have come before us, and we would be honored to help you protect the beauty and history of your loved ones' final resting place.
